Brewery Bieres de Quartier

Brasserie Bière de Quartiers is an initiative of two Brussels residents which aims to raise awareness of the local environment.

Not owning breweries, they started looking for producers, and it was so successful that they chose several.

This is why they have surrounded themselves with four breweries to create the different beers they offer (Jandrain-Jandrenouille, Val-Duc, En Stoemelings and the Brasserie du Renard). They wanted to avoid everything being made by the same brewery, to guarantee greater diversity among the beers on offer.

This is also why they went to meet the inhabitants to decide on the recipes for the different beverages. Today they brew eleven beers for eleven different Brussels neighborhoods for the enjoyment of all their inhabitants.

Each label also includes anecdotes from the neighborhood concerned. It is a small piece of terroir and history with a capsule. The recipes are as diverse as they are varied, there is something for everyone.

The project is still ongoing, this means that other beers can always appear and if you want your neighborhood in Brussels to be represented, do not hesitate to ask them.

The initiative of these two young people is to be highlighted. Even if it is for profit, the company has the merit of having brought together people from the same environment who did not even know each other, and this only thanks to their actions. And for that we say a hele dikke Thank you both.
