Brewery Vliegende Paard
The brewery 'Vliegende Paard' appeared through a competition, that of the company 'Brouwland' which organizes a competition for amateur brewers every year.
And after years of brewing in their cellar, the two amateurs entered the 2011 edition of the competition. In March, Brouwland announces to them that they are caught in the final. It was then that they decided that regardless of the outcome of the competition, they would open their brewery, the Vliegende Paard Brouwers.
In April the finals took place and it was to a great surprise that they won the competition with their version of a Trappist style beer; the ‘Prearis Quadruppel’.
Since then, they kept this beer in their fixed range to which they added the ‘Belgian IPA’. In addition, the Vliegende Paard brewery has brewed nearly a hundred different recipes, but always in an ephemeral way.
They brew their recipes themselves in a small village in East Flanders but the beers are then produced at Anders!.
