Brewery Verhaeghe Vichte
The Verhaeghe Vichte brewery dates from 1885, it is located in the province of West Flanders. Due to its location, the brewery had a direct rail connection to the capital. This allowed him to make himself known in Belgium.
After the First World War, the brewery no longer has any equipment because it was requisitioned by the Germans. The challenge was therefore to rebuild a brewery, while creating a production of low fermentation beers because at the time the success of these was enormous.
The beers that make the success of the brewery today are the 'Duchesse de Bourgogne', the 'Barbe' and the 'Vichtenaar'. Over time the brewery has specialized in the local style of 'Oud Bruin'.
