Brewery Sulauze
The Sulauze brewery is unique with a local, circular project that produces characterful, lively and evolving beers.
Julien and Guillaume are the two co-founders of the Sulauze brewery located on the domain of the same name which is a former Provençal winery.
The brewery is housed in the former sheepfold, 300 years old in the middle of a 600 year old estate. Cereals and hops grown on site are used by the brewery and the spent grains are given as food to pigs and bulls who are raised peacefully in the middle of vineyards and olive trees.
The brewing process is also special because it is done the old-fashioned way, over a wood fire and follows the lunar calendar (like a certain Paix Dieu in Belgium).
The styles of beer offered come from all walks of life with lambics, sours, IPA, pils or stout. This diversity of flavors has made them successful throughout France but also internationally.
If you are lucky enough to be in the area, a beer garden welcomes you on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
