      Brewery Struise Brouwers

The Struise brewery (ostrich in Dutch) is a brewery that was born in 2001 in a barn near the Belgian coast. At first, the Urban brewer produced a white called 'Struise Witte' but he was working intensely on another big project in parallel.

In 2003, this project of the Struise brewery was born, it is the 'Pannepot' which is still the pride of the brewery. At first Urbain had it brewed elsewhere, but after having brewed it at Deca, he moved to his own brewery right next to it.

The 'Pannepot' will be derived in many editions, including versions in barrel. This is how the 'Pannepot Reserva' and the 'Pannepot Grand Reserva' are born. These special editions require a barrel room, which takes up most of the area.

This is when the Struise brewery specializes in dark and strong beers. He will collaborate with several foreign breweries and beergeeks are snapping up his products.

Today it exports 80% of its production; especially in the United States and Scandinavia.
