Brewery Cazeau
The Cazeau brewery has a long history behind it.
The brewery was created in 1753 and everything went smoothly for the first hundred and fifty years. At the beginning of the 20th century, the First World War broke out and production was stopped during this dark period of contemporary history.
After the war, the Cazeau brewery joined forces with two other breweries to rise from the ashes of the First World War.
In the 1950s, the owners of the brewery decided to brew low-fermentation beers, following the popular craze for pilsner.
It was around the 2000s that the brewery revitalized with a new, younger and more complementary staff; both being civil engineer and chemical engineer.
The Tournay range appeared, followed by the Cazeau season, which won many prizes.
The Cazeau brewery is part of the region's terroir, close to the local population, it is a super friendly and warm place lost in the countryside of Tournaisis, at the back of a farm in an old barn with exposed bricks .
Mutual help is one of their most important values, namely that between brewers especially. They all know each other in the area and are more colleagues than competitors. In one of the provinces most proliferating in breweries, it's nice.
