Brewery Alvinne
The Alvinne brewery is considered today as one of the best in the ‘Westhoek’, a region of West Flanders where there is a high concentration of breweries.
In the beginning, in 2004, they made three beers that were good, but not exceptional; the ‘Melchior’, the ‘Baltazar’ and the ‘Gaspar’. Over the years, the two partners make barrel versions of these beers and that's where the click is made.
They only want to make beers that ripen in lightning, they will also make it their specialty. Today no more wise men, the three beers are gone. But, instead, the Alvinne brewery has created a yeast, the 'Morpheus', which will allow them to brew acid beers in all directions.
The reputation of the Alvinne brewery is booming and in less time than it takes to tell, the medals and prizes are starting to rain down.
This change of course has allowed the Alvinne brewery to get closer to local agricultural producers, with whom they now work hand in hand. Besides, apart from the barrels, which come from all over the planet, all the raw materials are grown within twenty kilometers of the brewery.
The majority of Alvinne beers are acidic but if you like that you have to taste what they do.
