Advent Calendar 4/24 - Tandem Beer

Good evening,

This evening we are going for a bike ride along the Brussels canal.

Behind the handlebars, the marriage of wheat and hops offers us a tasty White IPA or Indian Pale Ale Blanche for the most french people.

Tandem is a floral, refreshing beer that can be drunk on its own. It is also light in alcohol, with a level of 3.8%. The presence of wheat gives it enough body to differentiate it from an ordinary pilsner.

The Anderlecht brewery DrinkDrink is known for its organic beers all centered around the theme of cycling. The Tandem rubs shoulders with the bicycle, the BMX and the Trotinette (a favorite non-alcoholic beer of many Brussels residents).

But what is the difference between a white IPA and a classic IPA you ask?
The answer is hidden in the beer's coat and the suspended cereals hidden there. The addition of wheat actually makes the beer cloudy, like a wheat beer. This also softens the bitterness typical of IPA beers.

I leave you in good company,

Health !
