Brewery Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie
The "Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie" (Antwerp Brewery Company in Dutch) is a brewery project supported by a thousand crowdfunders. It is managed and run by beer lovers who wanted to relaunch an urban brewery in Antwerp.
It is therefore 100% independent and the brewery is environmentally friendly. The energy is supplied by the solar panels on the roof and the heat from the boiling is reused as much as possible via a suitable recovery system.
The Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie project was launched in 2012 but it was in 2016 that the brewery moved to the 'Noorderpershuis' (former press printing house), a place not far from the Scheldt located in the first areas of port activity.
Today, Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie offers five different beers and Antwerp beer is experiencing a new episode in its long brewing history after the takeover of the De Koninck brewery by the Duvel group.
