A Beer Advent Calendar with beers from the province of Flemish Brabant in it.
Isn't that a good idea? Whether you're from Antwerp or curious, we've selected 24 different beers includingminimum 12 beers from the province of Flemish Brabant
The Flemish Brabant breweries selected for this Advent Beer Calendar are very diverse. Many possibilities exist between the large brewery De Haacht, the gueuzeries Boon, Lindemans and Oud Beeersel or even the new microbreweries such as Belgoo and Hof ten Dormaal.
The beer selection on the calendar changes each year but we generally work with the following breweries:
Belgoobeer is an organic brewery located in the south-west of Brussels but remains little known to Brussels residents
Boon is a beer brewery in the Pajottenland valley, active since the 90s, it has regained its independence
De Haacht is one of the biggest breweries in Belgium although less known than Maes or Jupiler
Den Herberg offers a beer inspired by Orval and its brettanomyces
Hof ten Dormaal is a farm-brewery that loves safe beers that it offers in all flavors
Lindemans is a must for fruity gueuzes and lambics. Prefer the aged versions if you don't like sugar.
Oud Beersel is a historic Pajottenland brewery and its spontaneous beers
Rodenbach, implemented in Roeselare, the Flemish red beers perfectly complement the beers selected for this Flemish Brabant calendar
For those who are curious, here is what the advent calendar box looks like.
