Beer Advent Calendar
Beer advent calendars have been a real sensation for a few years.
At Beer Crush we offer you not one but fifteen beer advent calendars in order to continue the pleasure and discovery year after year but also to have an advent calendar with local craft beers.
Indeed, our beer advent calendars are above all dedicated to a region, a province, a city or even a country.
After having started the adventure of advent calendars in 2017 with a Brussels edition. In 2020, we launched around ten new calendars in order to offer one for each Belgian province. This year 2021, we are jumping the international cap with 6 French beer advent calendars: Paris, France and its major regions.
Which advent calendars had the most success in 2020?
Undoubtedly the Brussels edition (the great classic) but also the Hainaut beer editions (our favorite) and the version with beers from the province of Namur.
Our advent calendars all contain delicious beers. Which one to choose ?
There are several approaches to help you make the right choice:
- Buy the advent calendar with the beers of your region
- Buy the customizable advent calendar by telling us your preferences in the comments.
We will publish the different rankings very soon.
Although we are convinced that we are doing an incredible job, we went to see the side of the competition and we gave you a little report.
Beery Christmas - Flavors of Beer Advent Calendar Reviews
Ok, so we're not going to cut corners, Saveur Bières is the pioneer of the advent calendar with already its 9th edition in 2021. We do not know where they came up with the idea (Maybe it was when they saw a Kusmi Tea advent calendar on display in Paris?). Since their takeover by AB INBEV, the beer giant, we can say that they have been doing a lot with, in particular, giant advertisements in the Paris metro.
The main feature of the Saveurs Bière advent calendar is that the beers are brewed especially for the calendar with partner craft breweries from all over Europe. There are quite large breweries because you have to know how to follow volume level (a rumor of tens of thousands of calendars sold each year circulates..)
For the 2021 Advent edition, there are 25 beers offered by 26 breweries. We therefore deduce at least one collab and 2 cans stacked in the box. And why not 25 after all, we have the right to drink on December 25th.
Some practical information:
- Flavor Beer Advent Calendar Delivery: from October 11, 2021
- Breweries included: Butterfly Effect (FR), Pohjala (EST) & Vocation (UK)
A Little Moss Advent Calendar
Une petite mousse is the benchmark French player for beer subscriptions. In recent years, they have also been surging on the (very trendy) wave of beer advent calendars.
In this year 2021, they offer us 2 versions, one nicely illustrated for 69.95 (cents are important) and a second budget version with more accessible and above all cheaper beers. The 2021 edition was designed in co-creation with a few hundred volunteers, particularly on the design. On the other hand, no information on the participating breweries in this 2021 edition of Une petite mousse's advent calendar. Delivery from September.
Beerwulf Advent Calendar Reviews
Beerwulf landed in force on the online sale of beer a few years ago. Largely financed by the giant Heineken, they quickly became a reference with their free delivery even if it is mainly to sell perfect draft kegs of industrial beer.
Beerwulf remains quite discreet about the 2021 edition of the Beerwulf advent calendar. We learn on their site that there are 24 beers in it (surprise surprise) representing 12 different styles including some beers that are exceptional exclusives and or from special collaborative brews.
Some practical information:
- Beerwulf Advent Calendar Delivery: in 2-3 days from September
V&B Avis Advent Calendar
The V&B Advent Calendar 2021 was not yet available when these lines were written. The V&B franchise isn't very forthcoming about the beers in their advent calendar but it's assumed that these will mirror their usual range with Belgian beers, some big European craft references as well as breweries. French craftsmanship at national level. The V&B Advent Calendar is available online and in their 200+ franchise stores.
Nature & Discovery Advent Calendar Avis
We were a little surprised when we discovered that Nature & Découverte was included in the beer advent calendar, but it's true that for a few years now we have found in Nature & Découverte stores very interesting books on beer as well as beginner's brewing kits.
The Nature & Découverte advent calendar focuses on beers from around the world. There are international but very classic beers such as pilsners and benchmark lagers from several countries around the world. It's probably a little expensive 79€ for this type of beer but it works for beginner beer tasters. For the element of surprise, do not go to their site because the list of beers included in the calendar is published on their site.
Belgibeer Advent Calendar
Belgibeer has not been in business since the end of 2020 and therefore no longer offers calendars.
Advent calendar Belgium in a box
Belgium in a box went bankrupt in 2020.
