Brewery Dolle Brouwers

The De Dolle Brouwers brewery has existed since 1980.

She appeared in the lands of Dixmuide, in the village of Esen. Their first beer was the ‘Oerbier’, which was made in the cellar of the founders. Since then they have expanded their range with five other beers but remains a small brewery, they reach 1500 hectoliters per year.

Their name "Dolle Brouwers" comes from a bicycle club the "Dolle Dravers". This club is very small since it was and still is made up of only four members. They met in a hut which served as a dovecote. Knowing everything about their region, the distances and the slopes for cycling, and the love of beer… De Dolle Brouwers was born.
