      Brewery Sainte-Hélène

The Sainte-Hélène brewery began its adventure in 1995 when Eddy Pourtois began to experiment with brewing on a small installation at home.

It gives birth to an amber which is still in the classic range today. Living on rue Saint-Hélène in Orsinfaing in the south of Belgium, this is where the name of the brewery comes from.

Four years later, he invested in more substantial equipment which made it possible to brew three hectolitres. This is when the marketing begins. And in 2003, he moved, victim of his success, to Virton not far from there.

In 2005, he built the Sainte-Hélène brewery he dreamed of in Florenville with a facility of fourteen hectoliters, which will allow him to be 100% independent and to be entirely dependent on his productions.

In 2011, he finally finds the time to redo his labels, which had been imagined in a hurry in the past. All the Sainte-Hélène beers he has made in the past are still produced but they have changed names as the brewery has evolved.
